1. Himachal Pradesh has introduced Prerna scheme in all districts
The district administration of Himachal Pradesh, has come up with the Prerna scheme; to improve the quality of education, at primary level schools. This scheme is a success and now Himachal government has decided to implement it, in all the districts of Himachal Pradesh. The Prerna scheme would be under director of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. State level workshop would be held which would comprise of, the trained teachers and trainee teachers for this project; from April 25. With schemes like this, the quality of education in primary schools of Himachal Pradesh would, surely improve with the passage of time.
2. Draft for HPPSC HAS Exam has been made
Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, is going to switch to IAS pattern from the year 2017. The draft for this examination has been already proposed. This draft has been sent to the state government, for further approval. If the draft is recommended, it would be uploaded to the commission's official website. Therefore, the preliminary Examination would consist of two papers. That would include, general studies for 200 marks. This is the paper which will decide the merit of the candidate, whereas the other paper of Aptitude, that would be again of 200 marks; would be of qualifying nature. This is the very similar framework, which is followed by Union Public Service Commission. If candidate clears the preliminary examination, the main paper will be of 1,015 marks; that would include 900 marks for the written paper and 150 marks for the interview.
