The legend behind Bhimakali Sarahan Temple
During an earthquake in 20th century, the earthquake shook the temple. This resulted in tilting of the temple. However, later; yet another earthquake came and adjusted the temple, back to its original location. There is a secret tunnel, that was used by the priests; to travel to village, in case some happening occurs. There are two floors in the temple, the lowermost floor of the new Temple which was constructed; on the side of old temple. This first floor is not open all the time and contains, very old image of Goddess / Mata Bhimakali. The second floor is open for all visitors throughout the year.
