1. Government is controlling monkey's sterilization in the capital, Shimla
- Government has set up 8 sterilization centers in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Where 10,000 monkeys have been sterilized.
- One of the sterilization center has to be opened at Kanya Shala, Sainj in Shimla District.
- The government has opened up, 140 Vana Vatikas, for the rehabilitation of sterilized monkeys.
- These are going to be set up at Paonta Sahib and Chintpurni as-well.
2. Recruitment drive for police was held on 17 April 2016 in Dharamshala
- Many young energetic, aspirants gave their trials for the recruitment for police department in Dharamshala.
- This recruitment drive follows, the initial physical Efficiency Test. Those who go through this test, are allowed to sit for mental ability test.
- Further, the merit-in candidates, would be allowed to join police department of Himachal Pradesh.
