Nati folk dance is performed in circles, performed by men, women or both. Sometimes nati is performed in rows also. The people wear their traditional dresses while performing Nati. Himachali cap is wore by men while dhattu by women. Thus, nati is performed in slow rhythm.

Nati has two objectives, on one hand it celebrates the new year and on other, harvesting of crops.
